About the Role

As a Chemistry Teacher at Alfa Capital Management, you will impart fundamental and advanced chemistry content to learners, potentially within internal education programs or partner schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning, preparing, and delivering chemistry lessons.
• Creating teaching materials, experiments, and exercises.
• Conducting performance assessments and providing individual support.
• Collaborating with other teachers and subject matter experts to develop pedagogical concepts and ensure teaching quality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Subject matter expertise in Chemistry and science education: Profound knowledge of Chemistry.
• Pedagogical skills and teaching practice: Competencies in lesson design and teaching, with experience in lesson planning.
• Foundational knowledge in related scientific disciplines: Basic knowledge in Physics is desirable to illustrate connections between scientific subjects.
• Communication and social skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, empathy, patience, and respectful interaction with learners.
• Degrees and further qualifications: A degree in Chemistry, Chemistry Education, or a comparable scientific field is advantageous. Teacher training, prior teaching experience, experience with lab practicals, and proficiency in English are considered a plus.

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Mumbai.
