About the Role
SD COMMERCIAL (UK) LTD is a real estate company headquartered in Ilford, United Kingdom. This is a full-time, on-site Cloud Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The Cloud Engineer will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support the company’s real estate and business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Configuring and managing cloud environments.
- Handling deployments.
- Monitoring system performance.
- Ensuring scalability, security, and reliability of cloud-based services.
- Collaborating with software development teams.
- Optimizing databases.
- Managing Linux-based systems.
- Troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
- Contributing to automation initiatives.
- Creating documentation.
- Continuous improvement of cloud operations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure management.
- Experience with major cloud platforms.
- Networking fundamentals.
- Skills in Linux administration.
- Skills in Databases, including installation, configuration, performance tuning, and backup strategies.
- Skills in Software Development, including scripting or programming for automation, CI/CD pipelines, and integration with cloud services.
- Problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to security, reliability, and performance.
- Familiarity with containerization, version control systems, and monitoring tools is beneficial.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience as a Cloud Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer, preferably supporting business-critical applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
