About the Role
The Billing Engineer is a full-time role responsible for preparing, verifying, and updating project bills and related documentation for construction and infrastructure projects. This hybrid position is based in New Delhi, with a mix of on-site coordination and some work-from-home flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review BOQs
- Perform quantity take-offs
- Validate contractor invoices
- Conduct rate analysis
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and finance teams
- Track billing progress against project milestones
- Maintain detailed records for audits and client submissions
- Contribute to cost control, timely client billing, and effective cash flow management
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Proficiency in relevant billing/estimation software
- Familiarity with CAD or measurement tools is an advantage
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Experience in billing, quantity surveying, or cost estimation within construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong skills in BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying
- Proven proficiency in Billing Systems and Rate Analysis
- Solid Analytical Skills for cost verification, variance analysis, and data interpretation
- Working knowledge of construction processes, materials, and standards in civil engineering projects
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced project environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
