About the Role
Hexcel is seeking a Production Operator / Process Associate for our Salt Lake City, UT, USA location.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to a safety-first culture, including consistent use of personal protective equipment.
- Perform manufacturing duties to create world-class carbon fiber, resins, and pre-preg materials.
- Read and document operating parameters in accordance with production specifications.
- Operate and monitor production machines to ensure product quality standards.
- Detect, report, and correct defective materials.
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of the facility.
- Work a rotating 8 to 12-hour shift with the opportunity for 7 consecutive days off each month.
- Urgently respond to challenges on the line.
- Work in a team environment.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to conduct and understand basic arithmetic and measurements using a calculator and ruler.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to urgently address situations and events requiring a quick response.
- Demonstrate basic written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to physically perform the functions of the job.
