About the Role
The Junior Architect internship at Avkasa Designs is a hybrid position based in Mumbai, with some flexibility for work from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior designers and architects in developing interior and architectural concepts.
- Prepare drawings and create digital models.
- Assist with space planning.
- Assist with material selection.
- Assist with design documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure design intent is accurately represented.
- Revise plans based on feedback.
- Organize project files.
- Contribute to presentations for clients.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools.
- Comfort with standard office productivity software.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to assist in concept development and spatial planning.
- Introductory Project Management skills, including task organization, time management, and coordination with team members.
- Strong visual and spatial awareness.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret and create technical drawings.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to take feedback constructively.
- Willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.
