Installation Supervisor

About the Role

EVtron Tech is seeking an Installation Supervisor to join their team and support the installation and commissioning of EV charging infrastructure at customer locations. This role is ideal for diploma candidates who enjoy field work, coordinating installation activities, and ensuring projects are executed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of EV charging stations at customer sites.
• Coordinate and guide electricians, contractors, and installation teams during project execution.
• Ensure electrical wiring, cable routing, earthing, mounting, and associated installation activities are carried out as per company standards.
• Conduct site inspections and verify site readiness before installation activities begin.
• Support electrical connections, basic troubleshooting, and minor installation work.
• Assist in charger testing, commissioning, and successful handover to customers.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of installation projects.
• Maintain installation checklists, site reports, commissioning records, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety practices, company procedures, and applicable standards.
• Monitor installation quality and report technical or site-related issues.
• Support preventive maintenance, service visits, and installation audits.
• Travel to customer locations for installation, commissioning, and project support activities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• ITI (Electrician) candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring, single-phase and three-phase systems, MCBs, DBs, earthing, conduits, and electrical safety practices.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working at customer sites and traveling for installation projects.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in electrical installation, site supervision, industrial maintenance, or related field activities.
• Experience in EV charger installation, solar installations, industrial electrical systems, or automation projects is a plus.
• Experience supervising electricians or installation contractors is a plus.
• Familiarity with electrical testing tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, or insulation testers is a plus.
• Basic troubleshooting experience with electrical equipment is a plus.
• Valid two-wheeler driving license is a plus.
• Startup experience or the ability to handle multiple responsibilities independently is a plus.
• Interest in electric mobility and sustainable infrastructure is a plus.
