About the Role

STORYGRAM FILMS is a Mumbai-based film and media production company focused on creating engaging, story-driven content. The Writer internship is an on-site role based in Mumbai, supporting the development of scripts and story concepts for ongoing and upcoming projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in generating ideas, outlining narratives, drafting scenes, and revising content based on feedback.
• Conduct research for story authenticity.
• Prepare character profiles.
• Contribute to pitch decks.
• Help refine dialogues and structure.
• Collaborate with the creative and production teams to ensure written material aligns with project goals and visual storytelling.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Writing: Ability to write clear, engaging, and original content for scripts, scenes, and story outlines.
• Storytelling: Strong storytelling sense, including character development, plot structure, and dialogue writing.
• Research: Skills to support realistic and credible narratives across diverse themes and genres.
• Editing: Capacity to edit and revise written work based on feedback, maintaining consistency in tone and style.
• Interest: Interest in film, television, or digital media and familiarity with contemporary storytelling trends.
• Communication: Effective communication skills and readiness to collaborate with creative, production, and direction teams.
• Work Ethic: Ability to work on-site in Mumbai and manage deadlines in a fast-paced, project-based environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic background or coursework in literature, film studies, mass media, journalism, or a related field is beneficial.
