Job Summary

The Graduate Engineer Trainee will join Aquamech's Cold Storage and Cold Room business. This role involves learning proposal making and technical sales under the guidance of senior engineers. The position includes occasional site visits and travel for client meetings. We are seeking a fast learner who is hardworking, communicates well, and is comfortable with engineering basics and numbers.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with the proposals team on cold storage and cold room proposals for pharma, food, and logistics clients.
• Learn to study client enquiries and prepare BOQs, costing sheets, and offers.
• Learn basic refrigeration load calculations and equipment selection.
• Coordinate with the engineering, drafting, and purchase teams for drawings and vendor quotations.
• Visit sites occasionally for surveys and measurements.
• Join senior team members in client meetings, with travel as required.
• Keep enquiry records updated and track new cold chain projects as opportunities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or a related discipline (Mechanical preferred).
• Freshers welcome; 0-1 years of experience.
• Good communication skills.
• Fast learner, hardworking, disciplined, and self-motivated.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Willingness to make occasional site visits and travel for client meetings.
• Candidates with relevant HVAC, refrigeration, or cold room exposure, including internships and projects, are preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, cold rooms, or cold chain requirements (GDP, cGMP) is good to have.
