Mechanical Engineer

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Engineer role based in Ahmedabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, evaluating, and optimizing mechanical components and systems related to water pumps and associated showroom equipment.
• Creating and reviewing engineering drawings.
• Conducting performance analysis.
• Supporting installation and maintenance teams.
• Collaborating with sales staff to provide technical input on product selection.
• Coordinating with suppliers and internal teams on product improvements.
• Troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Ensuring designs comply with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
• Documenting technical findings.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting customer satisfaction through reliable engineering solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating and modifying 2D and 3D models.
• Ability to manage tasks using basic Project Management practices, including planning, scheduling, and coordination.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices in mechanical systems.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and adapt to a showroom and field-support environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles, including fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
• Experience in Machine Design and mechanical component selection for pumps or similar equipment.
• Exposure to Research and Development (R&D) activities, such as performance testing and product improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with pump systems, installation, or maintenance is an advantage.
