About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Site Supervisor handling interior commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations for interior commercial projects.
- Ensure work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, contractors, and vendors.
- Manage labor and subcontractors.
- Monitor progress against schedules.
- Ensure adherence to safety practices.
- Maintain site documentation, including daily reports, measurements, and material records.
- Resolve on-site issues.
- Supervise installation and finishing activities.
- Conduct quality checks.
- Support timely completion of milestones within budget.
- Represent the company at the site.
- Maintain professional communication with clients.
- Uphold Interex’s standards of workmanship and service.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong site supervision skills, including monitoring daily activities, coordinating multiple trades, and managing subcontractors on interior commercial projects.
- Practical knowledge of interior works such as gypsum partitions and ceilings, carpentry, painting and polishing, plumbing, electrical, air-conditioning, and basic civil work.
- Skills in reading and interpreting architectural and MEP drawings.
- Ability to prepare measurements and maintain accurate site records and reports.
- Skills in project coordination, including material planning, vendor follow-up, scheduling, and supporting adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients, consultants, and internal teams, and to resolve site-related issues effectively.
- Awareness of safety standards and compliance practices for construction sites.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required by project timelines.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role in interior commercial projects is preferred.
- A diploma or degree in civil engineering, interior design, or a related field is an advantage.
