About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Lexington, MA.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers.
• Provide product recommendations.
• Ensure a positive in-store experience.
• Handle sales transactions.
• Operate the point-of-sale system.
• Restock and merchandise displays.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor.
• Learn product details.
• Support store promotions.
• Process special orders or gift wrapping.
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales and customer service goals.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage warmly and professionally with diverse shoppers.
• Retail sales and point-of-sale (POS) skills, including cash handling, transaction processing, and basic math competency.
• Merchandising and visual presentation skills, with attention to detail in arranging displays and maintaining store appearance.
• Communication and teamwork skills, including clear verbal communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy retail environment.
• Interest in artisan-made products, jewelry, pottery, and gift items is highly beneficial.
• Previous retail or customer-facing experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move merchandise as needed.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on store needs.
