About the Role

Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to support functions of a mental health and specialty pharmacy. This role primarily involves dispensing medical prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with a 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm lunch.

Location: 1035 E Jefferson St. Suite P1 Phoenix, AZ 85034

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff.
• Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification by a Registered Pharmacist.
• Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies.
• Receive and process wholesaler medication orders.
• Verify medication stock and enter data to maintain inventory records.
• Assist the Pharmacist with pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Perform various clerical duties.
• Communicate effectively using professional verbal and written skills.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) (preferred)
• 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience (preferred)

Hourly pay range: $18.00 to $32.00 per hour.
