About the Role
Community First Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst to join their team. This role is an opportunity for individuals with an analytical mindset, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, whether they are recent graduates or seeking a career change. No prior banking experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow to evaluate lending opportunities.
- Identify financial trends, assess risks, and convert complex information into meaningful insights.
- Prepare credit presentations and recommendations to support sound lending decisions.
- Gain exposure to commercial and agricultural lending, including specialized programs and complex credit relationships.
- Monitor loan portfolios and evaluate borrower performance in collaboration with experienced professionals.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, agricultural business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with others.
- A genuine desire to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
- Previous banking or credit analysis experience is not required.
