About the Role

The Counsellor (EDTECH) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role focuses on guiding prospective learners and customers through education-related offerings and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with leads via calls, messages, and in-person interactions.
• Understand learning needs and recommend suitable programs or products.
• Clearly explain course features and benefits.
• Address questions and concerns.
• Support individuals in making informed decisions.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions.
• Follow up with interested learners.
• Coordinate with internal teams.
• Meet enrollment and conversion targets.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability in academic or career counselling, learner guidance, or advisory roles, with a focus on understanding individual needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear spoken and written English, active listening, and the ability to build trust with diverse learners and customers.
• Basic sales and customer relationship skills, such as lead nurturing, consultative selling, and follow-up to support conversions without high-pressure tactics.
• Comfort with digital tools and EDTECH platforms, including CRM systems, online meeting tools, messaging apps, and basic office productivity software.
• Organizational and record-keeping skills, with attention to detail in documenting interactions, tracking progress, and managing multiple learners or inquiries.
• Interest in organic products, wellness, or sustainable living, and the ability to communicate these values when interacting with customers and learners.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate effectively with colleagues, and adapt to a fast-paced environment with clear performance targets.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, prior experience in counselling, EDTECH, education sales, or customer-facing roles; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.

Compensation: 35,000–45,000 INR in-hand.
