Intern, Tax - Winter/Spring Busy Season 2027

About the Role

• Opportunity to gain hands-on experience performing client work for the tax group.
• Work with a variety of clients, including corporations, partnerships, individuals, and financial institutions, ranging in size from community banks to SEC-registrants.
• Internship duration: January 2027 to approximately April 15, 2027.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare a variety of reports and/or prepare work papers in accordance with the firm’s standard of quality.
• Prepare various types of tax returns as directed.
• Address review comments in a timely manner.
• Prepare quarterly estimate tax calculations.

Qualifications

• Working towards a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Internship to commence during the candidate’s junior or senior year of school; candidates completing their master’s program will also be considered.
• GPA 3.0 or greater is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Highly organized with good time management skills.
• Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week (Monday through Friday); a set schedule is required.
• Occasional Saturdays may be needed beginning March 1st through the end of the internship (4-6 hours).
