About the Role
Genoa Healthcare is seeking a Part Time Pharmacy Technician to support the functions of a Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy. This role involves dispensing medical prescriptions and performing clerical duties under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
- Hours: Part-time, 16 hours per week. Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm PST.
- Location: 11000 Lake City Way NE, Seattle, WA 98125
Key Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
- Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
- Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
- Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
- Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
- Assists the Pharmacist in pharmacy functions and ensures compliance with all federal and state requirements
- Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
- Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Washington
- Access to reliable transportation
Qualifications
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (Preferred)
- Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience (Preferred)
