Python Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate microservices in Python and/or Node.js, deployed to AKS.
• Integrate Claude (Anthropic API) into product features, including prompt design, tool use, and reliable handling of model responses.
• Build and maintain services across meeting, SMS, and vendor-facing domains.
• Lead decoupling efforts: carve well-bounded services out of existing systems, define clean APIs and event contracts, and manage data/traffic migration with minimal disruption.
• Integrate third-party vendor APIs (telephony/SMS, meeting platforms) with an eye toward resilience and graceful degradation.
• Own observability, performance, and on-call reliability for the services you ship.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or Node.js for building backend services and APIs.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) in production environments.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, service boundaries, and event-driven patterns.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs, including LLMs and AI-powered services.
• Familiarity with Azure or equivalent cloud platforms, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with LLM integration, prompt design, tool usage, and reliable model response handling.
• Hands-on experience with Telephony/SMS platforms such as Twilio or meeting platforms such as Zoom.
• Experience with event streaming technologies such as Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
• Ability to design reliable, scalable, and maintainable backend solutions.
