Python And Django Developer Intern

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Support the engineering team by developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using Python and Django.
• Write clean and efficient code.
• Assist with API development.
• Troubleshoot bugs.
• Contribute to feature enhancements under the guidance of senior developers.
• Collaborate with team members through code reviews.
• Participate in sprint activities.
• Help document technical implementations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational skills in Python programming.
• Understanding of the Django framework, including models, views, and templates.
• Skills in web development fundamentals such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs.
• Skills in using version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Basic debugging techniques.
• Familiarity with testing practices.
• Skills in working with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQLite).
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries.

Qualifications

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a remote team environment.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not strictly required.
