About the Role
LaBella Associates is seeking a Transportation Project Engineer for our Albany, NY office. The successful candidate will be technically astute in transportation and/or highway engineering with a proven background in the development of transportation and/or highway projects. This role may involve serving as a project manager on some assignments or as a project engineer on larger projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specification, and plan preparation for efficient and cost-effective project execution.
- Assists Project Managers with business development activities, including client meetings.
- Assists with preparing and coordinating proposal efforts to secure work.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- 0-3 years of progressive transportation design experience.
- Experience on NYSDOT, NYSTA, and Local Administered Federal Aid transportation projects.
- Experience with Microstation / AutoCAD. Inroads experience a plus.
- General knowledge of NYSDOT specifications and standards.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal relationships skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
- PE is expected to be obtained.
Salary Range
$60,000 - $75,000
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
