Role Description

The Embedded Engineer will design, develop, and maintain embedded software for microcontroller- and microprocessor-based systems in an on-site role located in Chennai. This full-time position involves writing efficient, reliable code, integrating software with hardware components, and performing unit and integration testing. The role includes debugging and troubleshooting issues at both software and system levels, analyzing logs, and optimizing performance. The Embedded Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prepare technical documentation, and support product validation and deployment. The position may also involve contributing to Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, including connectivity, device management, and data integration.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Skills in Embedded Software Programming.
• Skills in Embedded Software for microcontroller- and microprocessor-based systems.
• Skills in Software Development, including coding, testing, and documentation for embedded applications.
• Skills in Debugging, including troubleshooting firmware, hardware–software integration, and performance issues.
• Skills related to the Internet of Things (IoT), such as device connectivity, communication protocols, and basic cloud integration.
• Strong understanding of C/C++ or similar languages for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with RTOS or bare-metal programming.
• Experience with common embedded tools and workflows (compilers, debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, version control systems).
• Ability to work on-site in Chennai.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
