About the Internship
Thinknova is looking for enthusiastic individuals interested in Cybersecurity and Information Security. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in ethical hacking, network security, vulnerability assessment, threat detection, and security operations through hands-on projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying, analyzing, and addressing cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
- Perform basic vulnerability assessments and security testing in authorized environments.
- Work with cybersecurity tools to monitor and analyze potential security threats.
- Explore ethical hacking, penetration testing, and defensive security techniques.
- Assist in monitoring security alerts, analyzing logs, and identifying suspicious activities.
- Gain exposure to Security Operations Center (SOC) processes and incident response.
- Support network security, application security, and data protection activities.
- Prepare security assessment reports and document findings.
- Collaborate with team members on assigned cybersecurity projects.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and information security principles.
- Familiarity with computer networks, operating systems, and internet security.
- Knowledge of Linux, TCP/IP, firewalls, or network security is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, or Kali Linux is beneficial.
- Interest in ethical hacking, penetration testing, SOC operations, and threat intelligence.
- Familiarity with Python, Bash, or other scripting languages is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
About the Role
- Duration: 3 Months
- Work Mode: Remote
- Stipend: Up to ₹10,000 (Performance-Based)
