Associate

About the Role

The Associate role at Nestlé Sanand is a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Associate will support day-to-day operational activities, such as coordinating production or warehouse tasks, following standard operating procedures, and maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring quality checks.
• Assisting with inventory handling.
• Complying with safety and hygiene norms.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Reporting any issues to supervisors.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Ability to follow detailed processes and standard operating procedures, with strong attention to quality, safety, and compliance.
• Basic data handling and documentation skills, including maintaining records, filling out forms, and using digital tools or ERP systems where required.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with peers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams on the shop floor.
• Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to identify issues, escalate them appropriately, and support continuous improvement activities.
• Physical ability to work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, including standing for extended periods and handling routine operational tasks.
• Willingness to work in shifts as per operational needs.
• Willingness to strictly adhere to safety, hygiene, and company policy guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification such as a diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., operations, manufacturing, logistics, or related discipline) is preferred.
• Prior experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or supply chain operations is an advantage but not always mandatory for entry-level candidates.
