About the Role
The Artificial Intelligence Intern will support the design, development, and evaluation of AI and Machine Learning models for real-world business use cases in a remote internship role.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore datasets.
- Perform data preprocessing.
- Experiment with algorithms.
- Assist in building predictive or classification models.
- Implement and test prototypes.
- Document experiments and results.
- Contribute to integrating AI components into larger software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., data engineers, developers, product stakeholders).
- Participate in code reviews.
- Research emerging AI techniques.
- Prepare technical reports or presentations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Analytical skills to interpret data, identify patterns, and solve complex technical problems.
- Knowledge of Data Science concepts:
- Data preprocessing.
- Feature engineering.
- Basic statistical analysis.
- Understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals:
- Supervised and unsupervised learning.
- Model evaluation.
- Common ML libraries.
- Programming skills in languages commonly used for AI/ML (such as Python, R, or JavaScript).
- Familiarity with version control tools.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to collaborate with global teams.
- Exposure to deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), cloud platforms, or data visualization tools is advantageous.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
