Product Engineer Development Engineering

About the Role

Husky TechnologiesTM is seeking a Product Engineer to join the Development Engineering-Husky (India) team in Guindy, Chennai. This is a Full-Time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Interfacing with the Advantage+Elite (A+E) platform and Monitoring Center.
• Performing deep dive investigations and resolving issues beyond the capacity of the monitoring desk.
• Applying lessons learned from root cause resolution to develop predictive detection and alerting for the A+E monitoring program.
• Leading cross-discipline efforts to research niche market needs.
• Developing monitoring and alert strategies to serve value-based drivers.
• Proposing new opportunities or solutions to enhance monitoring technologies.
• Collaborating with field service, development engineering, and operations teams to develop solutions.
• Working effectively with supporting teams such as service, sales, quality, and engineering.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Data-driven, systematic approach to troubleshooting.
• Ability to work with new and evolving technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of Systems technology and related mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as controls and injection molding process.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and interact effectively and professionally with customers.
• Ability to interface effectively across manufacturing, engineering, and service functions.
• Data-Driven AI Development including model selection, feature engineering, and performance tuning.
• Experience with configuration of cloud-based IoT monitoring software such as MindSphere, PTC ThingWorx, Ignition, InfluxDB, or Watson.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree or Engineering technician with appropriate experience.
• Experience with Husky equipment including assembly, testing, service, and engineering (machines, molds, robots, and other product handling equipment) is an asset.
