Financial Analyst Intern

About the Role

• Full-time remote internship in India.
• Duration: 1 to 3 months.
• Stipend: INR 15,000 to INR 16,500 per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and organize financial data from different sources using Excel and Google Sheets.
• Build basic financial models, budgets and forecasts with guidance from the team.
• Analyze income, expenses, margins and cash flow to find trends and improvement areas.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly financial reports and dashboards.
• Perform variance analysis and compare actual results with budgets and targets.
• Create charts, summaries and presentations to explain financial findings clearly.
• Check data for errors and maintain accuracy in financial reports.
• Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables, charts).
• Financial modeling and forecasting.
• Finance and accounting concepts (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Analytical and numerical skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Written and spoken English communication.

Good to Have

• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau or SQL.
• Basic understanding of ratio analysis, valuation and budgeting.
• Knowledge of Tally or any accounting software.
• Any finance course, certification (NISM, CFA Level 1, Financial Modeling) or internship experience.

Eligibility

• Students and recent graduates in B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA (Finance), BA (Economics), CA Inter or any related field.
• Freshers interested in building a career in finance and analysis.
• Candidates with a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection.
