Quality Control Associate, Fruits and Vegetables

About the Role

This role is part field inspection and part business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site surveys and inspections at warehouses and distribution centers
• Assess produce quality and flag issues like spoilage, size irregularities, and pest infestations
• Record survey results accurately using the company’s reporting standards
• Build relationships with importers, exporters, overseas suppliers, and distributors
• Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into clients

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Knowledge of fruit and vegetable quality parameters and quality control methods
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to client relationships
• Attention to detail and a sales-oriented mindset
• Ability to travel frequently and work in field environments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Science, or Business
• Freshers, or 1 to 2 years of experience in quality control, agricultural inspection, or a similar role (preferred)
