About the Role

Crossing Infotech is hiring a Healthcare Data Analyst Intern for a full-time remote internship in India. The internship runs for 1 to 3 months with a monthly stipend of INR 15,000 to INR 16,500. Freshers and students are welcome to apply. Interns work on live projects under the guidance of experienced team members.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean and organize healthcare data such as patient records, claims and hospital operations data using Excel and SQL.
• Write SQL queries to extract and analyze data from healthcare databases.
• Build dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel to track key healthcare metrics.
• Identify trends and patterns in areas such as patient volume, claims, billing and operational performance.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly healthcare MIS and analytics reports.
• Check data for errors and maintain data accuracy, privacy and confidentiality.
• Present insights and findings clearly to the team in simple reports and summaries.
• Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
• Basic understanding of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, WHERE).
• Familiarity with Power BI or any data visualization tool.
• Basic understanding of data analytics concepts.
• Basic awareness of healthcare terms and data privacy.
• Good written and spoken English communication.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy).
• Familiarity with healthcare data such as claims, EHR or hospital reports.
• Basic understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance.
• Any data analytics course, certification or project experience.

Eligibility

• Students and recent graduates in B.Pharm, BDS, BPT, B.Sc (Nursing, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Statistics), BCA, B.Tech, MBA (Healthcare) or any related field.
• Freshers interested in building a career in healthcare analytics.
• Candidates with a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection.
