Job Title: Finance and Accounts Intern | Remote

About the Role

Crossing Infotech is hiring a Finance and Accounts Intern for a full-time remote internship in India. The internship runs for 1 to 3 months. Interns will work on live projects under the guidance of experienced team members.

Job Details

• Duration: 1 to 3 months
• Stipend: INR 14,500 to INR 16,000 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries, vouchers, and ledgers using Tally or similar accounting software.
• Prepare GST invoices, track GST input and output, and assist in preparing data for GST returns.
• Process vendor bills, customer invoices, payments, and receipts, and maintain up-to-date records.
• Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts, and report differences.
• Track expenses, receivables, and payables, and assist in preparing monthly financial summaries.
• Prepare accounting and finance reports in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Check entries for errors and maintain accuracy in books of accounts.
• Collaborate with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of accounting concepts (debit, credit, journal entries, ledgers, trial balance).
• Basic knowledge of GST, invoicing, and tax terms.
• Familiarity with Tally or any accounting software.
• Basic knowledge of Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
• Good attention to detail and numerical skills.
• Good written and spoken English communication.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of TDS basics and bank reconciliation.
• Familiarity with Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and bookkeeping.
• Any accounting or GST course, certification, or internship experience.

Eligibility

• Students and recent graduates in B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA (Finance), BA (Economics), CA Inter, or any related field.
• Freshers interested in building a career in finance and accounting.
• Candidates with a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection.
