About the Role
Join Pace® Analytical Services as an Entry Level Scientist 1 and contribute to making the world a safer, healthier place. This role involves hands-on analysis within environmental testing laboratories.
Schedule
- Friday through Monday, 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze environmental samples using instruments such as GC-MS with established chemistry and biochemistry methods to identify environmental contaminants.
- Review and interpret sample analysis results.
- Document procedures, observations, and results accurately to maintain high-quality, organized laboratory records.
- Clean, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to work effectively in a laboratory environment, including standing for extended periods, working around strong odors, and wearing required PPE.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or other STEM related degrees, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Must have 8 chemistry credit hours with labs.
