Production Officer, Research

Key Responsibilities

• Format and publish Research reports using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel templates.
• Ensure conformity to HSBC’s layout standards and house style.
• Publish reports electronically using HSBC content management systems.
• Coordinate with external and internal printers and distributors for timely publication and distribution.
• Create Charts and Maps using PowerPoint and Adobe Suite tools.
• Assist analysts with template-related and content management system-related queries.
• Handle and manage content on the research website on a daily basis.
• Create graphics for internal and external purposes (e.g., marketing brochures, report covers) using Adobe Suite tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Understand and comply with all relevant policies and procedures.
• Assist senior management in managing operational risk elements including Compliance, Data Protection, Health and Safety, and Money laundering reviews.
• Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of audit points and addressing issues raised by regulators.
• Implement the Group Compliance Policy.
• Be aware of operational risk scenarios associated with the role.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Adobe Suite tools: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• HSBC layout standards and house style

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• A diploma in graphics / fine arts is highly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of graphics software tools.
• Willingness to attend to long term night shifts and weekend work, depending on business requirements.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and with multiple stakeholders.
• Comfort in escalating decisions where appropriate.
