Merchandise and Stocking Associate

About the Role

This role connects all the dots to ensure members can find everything on their shopping list. Depending on the shift, responsibilities include moving inventory, unloading trucks, fulfilling club pick-up orders, and helping members while stocking shelves. This is a fast-paced, physically demanding job.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, and offering guidance and support.
• Locates merchandise, resolves member issues and concerns, and promotes company products and services.
• Maintains facility safety according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandise presentation according to company policies and procedures, including stocking, organizing, and setting up displays.
• Monitors food and merchandise quality, ensuring product rotation, code dating, and sanitation standards are followed.
• Displays promotional and seasonal merchandise prominently.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with others, and adapting to change.
• Ensures club pick-up orders are filled by assisting with picking and staging orders according to company policy.
• Promptly unloads trucks.
• Assists fellow associates as needed.
• Sorts and stocks products on shelves and in the backroom.
• Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and member-ready area.
