About the Role
Honda Development & Manufacturing of America is seeking a Spare Parts & Technical Support Engineer in Marysville, OH. This role involves procuring critical proprietary spare parts, supporting assembly repairs, and optimizing MRO replenishment across North American plants.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support on critical specialized manufacturing equipment (servo guns, paint bells, line testers).
- Author equipment assembly and troubleshooting manuals and train maintenance associates on rebuild methods.
- Manage procurement, RFQs, and replenishment stock orders for proprietary spare parts with Honda Japan.
- Conduct technical inspections on in-house and supplier-rebuilt machine assemblies to verify quality.
- Optimize MRO stock levels to balance parts availability against working capital inventory targets.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent manufacturing experience).
- 0-2 years of manufacturing engineering or industrial equipment maintenance experience.
- Hands-on technical experience with automated weld guns, rotary paint bells, or CNC spindle gang heads.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP inventory management.
- Strong verbal, written, and technical presentation skills.
