About the Role
The Junior Video Editor will support the creation and refinement of video content for various digital platforms and client projects. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage.
- Assemble clips into cohesive stories.
- Apply basic color corrections.
- Add simple visual elements or graphics as required.
- Collaborate with senior editors, designers, and marketing teams to follow creative briefs.
- Maintain brand consistency.
- Meet project timelines.
- Participate in reviews and feedback sessions.
Qualifications
- Skills in video production and video editing, including handling raw footage and assembling final video deliverables.
- Skills in video color grading to enhance visual quality and maintain a consistent look and feel.
- Skills in motion graphics and graphics to create basic titles, transitions, and visual elements.
- Familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow creative directions.
- Willingness to learn from feedback.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment in Coimbatore.
- A relevant diploma or degree in film, media, visual communication, or a related field is preferred.
- Internship or project experience in video editing is an advantage.
