About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Tool and Die Maker based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, fabricating, and maintaining precision tools, dies, and fixtures.
- Interpreting blueprints.
- Setting up and operating machinery.
- Inspecting components for accuracy.
- Ensuring tools meet specifications.
- Collaboration with the production team.
- Troubleshooting issues within the manufacturing process.
- Progressive Deep Draw Design, manufacture and maintenance.
- Power press maintenance with grip feeder maintenance.
- Lathe working.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in tool and die-making processes, including machining, welding, and fabrication.
- Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files.
- Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Knowledge of machinery and equipment operation and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to perform maintenance and repair on tools and dies.
- Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Vocational training or a diploma in Tool and Die making or a related technical field.
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality in work output.
