About the Role
Shamrock Roofing & Construction is seeking a Content Creator to document their work and tell their story through video and social media. This is a hands-on, creative role where you will be actively involved in capturing content on build sites and editing it for various social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Get out to build sites and shoot: crews working, tear-offs, storm damage, finished roofs, customer reactions
- Edit captured footage into finished short-form video for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Build and maintain the weekly content calendar
- Capture photo and video libraries for reuse across ads and the website
Details
- Location: Overland Park office and on-site at active job sites around the metro. Reliable transportation is needed.
- Schedule: 25 to 30 hours per week, flexible.
- Pay: $20 to $25 per hour.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- A required portfolio or reel showcasing self-shot and edited video.
- Real editing ability in tools such as Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci, or Final Cut.
- Ability to capture compelling content on job sites with a phone or camera without a detailed brief.
- Comfortable working around trades, crews, and homeowners.
- Reliable with meeting deadlines.
Helpful, But Not Required
- Drone experience or a Part 107 certificate.
- Graphic design for social media.
- Current Film, Media, or Communications student or recent graduate. This role can accommodate a class schedule.
