About the Role
Discoveri Oaks School is seeking an English Facilitator, High School for a full-time, on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging English language and literature lessons aligned with the school’s progressive pedagogy and curriculum objectives.
- Plan units and lesson plans.
- Facilitate inquiry-based and discussion-led learning.
- Assess student progress through varied tools.
- Provide constructive feedback to learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate English learning with other disciplines.
- Create authentic reading and writing experiences.
- Maintain a classroom environment that is safe, inclusive, and respectful.
- Communicate regularly with families.
- Participate in school events and professional development.
- Contribute to the holistic growth and well-being of students.

Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in English language and literature instruction, including lesson planning, classroom facilitation, and assessment practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a closely related field.
- Advanced qualifications or teacher certification in secondary English are an advantage.
- Prior experience teaching or facilitating English for middle or high school learners.
- Experience in progressive, international, or holistic education settings is preferred.
- Alignment with the school’s values of holistic development and global citizenship.
