This is an UNPAID VOLUNTEER role with a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).
Role Overview
As an HR Volunteer, you will support our core Human Resources operations to ensure smooth volunteer lifecycle management, engagement, and administrative workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate volunteer records and databases.
- Assist with volunteer onboarding and orientation processes.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and guidelines.
- Coordinate internal communication and foster strong engagement among remote team members.
- Contribute to initiatives focused on volunteer well-being, engagement, and retention.
- Collaborate across teams to maintain fair, transparent, and inclusive HR practices aligned with our mission.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Foundational knowledge of Human Resources (HR) and HR management principles.
- Familiarity with HR policies, guidelines, and engagement practices.
- Strong organizational, record-keeping, and personnel management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suited for a remote working environment.
- Proactive mindset with good time-management skills and attention to detail.
- High sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and a strong commitment to social impact.
Education/Experience
- Prior background in HR, Social Work, or Non-Profit Management is beneficial.
- Freshers to 18 years of experience are welcome.
