AI Product Designer
Adobe
About the Role
Bridgeway is Adobe's agentic marketing partner for small businesses and solopreneurs. We're building software that acts like a great marketing hire, not another tool to learn. We're looking for a design engineer who lives at the intersection of design and code. Bridgeway runs like a startup within Adobe, offering early-stage pace and ownership combined with enterprise-scale resources. You will work directly with product and engineering to prototype, build, and ship experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Turn a single problem into several distinct, high-fidelity prototypes to present real options.
- Build production-quality UI components and interactions in code.
- Ground decisions in first-principles thinking about users, specifically solo business owners with limited time.
- Champion simplicity, cutting, collapsing, and clarifying the product to feel effortless.
- Bridge design and engineering, translating concepts into code and considering feasibility from the start.
- Evolve Bridgeway's design system for faster shipping and compounding quality.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Comfortable in Figma and a code editor, with a tendency to reach for the code editor first.
- Strong front-end skills including React, TypeScript, CSS, and animation.
- Strong sense of build, understanding craft, hierarchy, and restraint.
- Ability to explore multiple directions before converging and a preference for showing over describing.
- Ability to prototype in hours, not days, using AI tools without compromising quality.
- A bias toward simplicity and a love for designing for real people (SMB owners, not power users).
- Ability to think in systems and build reusable components.
- Genuine excitement about AI agents and new interaction paradigms.
- Experience building a design system and prototyping workflow that compounds.
- Ability to judge quality at a high bar, identifying promising AI-generated options and articulating why.
Qualifications
- You have shipped real products and are proud of the outcome.
- You operate across product, design, and engineering lenses, demonstrating design sense, production-quality code, and product-manager-level reasoning.
- You have taste and judgment sharp enough to orchestrate AI-assisted prototyping at high speed while maintaining a high quality bar.
- You can identify what good looks like before it exists and spot promising AI-generated directions.
- You understand what to build, not just how, with a deep understanding of the solo business owner user.
- You can operate AI tools for fast prototyping loops, rapid evaluation, and continuous refinement.
- You own a design surface end-to-end: concept, prototype, production code, and system integration.
