About the Role
HOPS Healthcare is hiring an Embedded Firmware Engineer on behalf of its group company Kali Medtech Private Limited. This fast-growing health-tech company is building smart, AI-powered solutions for cardiac monitoring, including the OOM Patch (a wearable ECG device) and the OOM ECG Analyzer (a cloud platform).
Key Responsibilities
- Proficient in C and C++ programming for embedded systems development.
- Strong experience in custom driver reading and development.
- Hands-on experience with RTOS / FreeRTOS and memory optimization.
- Experience with MQTT protocol for device-to-server communication.
- Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for wireless communication.
- Knowledge of GSM and AT Commands for cellular communication.
- Strong understanding of SPI, I2C, and UART communication protocols.
- Experience in firmware debugging and troubleshooting using logic analyzers and other debugging tools.
- Ability to work closely with hardware teams for hardware-firmware integration and debugging.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Embedded C/C++.
- Experience in Custom Driver Development, RTOS/FreeRTOS, and Memory Optimization.
- Must have recent hands-on experience with BLE, Wi-Fi, and GSM.
- Strong understanding of embedded systems and hardware-software interaction.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience in IoT, healthcare, medical devices, or connected devices will be an added advantage.
