About the Role

This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent collaboration via digital tools, timely task completion, and adherence to agreed schedules. The position offers structured learning, on-the-job mentoring, and exposure to practical accounting and auditing procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the firm’s audit, tax, and accounting engagements.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, working papers, and documentation under supervision.
• Gather and analyze financial data.
• Perform basic reconciliations.
• Assist with compliance filings.
• Maintain organized records.
• Help in drafting client communications.
• Update internal reports.
• Follow firm standards and professional guidelines.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, documentation tools).
• Basic accounting software (e.g., common accounting platforms).

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and basic auditing procedures.
• Skills in numerical analysis.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and documentation.
• Skills in written and verbal communication, including clear email drafting and professional client interaction.
• Skills in time management and organization.
• Ability to follow structured processes while working remotely.
• Enrollment in or completion of a professional accounting program (such as CA or equivalent) is preferred.
• Prior internship or practical training experience is an advantage.
• Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, continuous learning, and adapting to guidance from senior team members is essential.
