About the Role

The In-Store Promoter is a full-time, on-site role responsible for representing ARS Rescue Rooter Austin inside retail partner locations in Austin, TX. The promoter engages shoppers, introduces ARS services, and encourages customers to schedule home service consultations or appointments.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage shoppers and introduce ARS services.
• Encourage customers to schedule home service consultations or appointments.
• Answer basic questions about services.
• Explain current promotions.
• Collect accurate customer information.
• Maintain a clean and organized booth or display.
• Monitor promotional materials.
• Report on daily activity and lead generation.
• Collaborate with store staff.
• Follow company guidelines.
• Participate in training to stay up to date on offerings and scripts.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Communication skills, including clear verbal interaction and active listening.
• Customer Service and Retail Sales experience, with the ability to engage shoppers and build rapport.
• Organization skills to manage booth materials, track leads, and follow set procedures.
• Ability to participate in and apply training focused on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance.
• Comfort working on-site in a busy retail environment and standing for extended periods.
• Basic computer or tablet skills for entering customer information and reporting results.
• Previous experience in promotions, retail, or home services is beneficial but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
