About the Role
Sevita provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The role is for a Direct Support Professional and is full-time, with afternoon/evening hours, located in Telfair Brandon, FL. The pay rate is $15.00/Hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Help people grow, learn, and live well.
- Develop meaningful relationships with individuals served.
- Take initiative to help participants engage with the community and enjoy activities.
- Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
- Assist individuals with personal hygiene.
- Support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
- Communication skills.
- Adaptability.
- Multi-tasking abilities.
- Teamwork.
- Time-management skills.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
