About the Role
Maximus Partners, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join a growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and strategic business reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and business results
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports
- Build and maintain financial models
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights
- Partner with business leaders across multiple departments
- Track key performance indicators and support strategic decision-making
- Assist with audit and regulatory reporting requirements
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Recent graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience
- Strong preference for candidates from top-tier universities with a high GPA
- Background in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Big 4 Accounting, Audit, Advisory, or related analytical roles
- Demonstrated academic excellence and a high level of intellectual curiosity
