Key Responsibilities

• Initiate, develop, and execute product qualifications for raw material or finished goods changes in aerospace materials.
• Interpret and recommend qualification strategies in compliance with corporate standards.
• Develop collaborative relationships with manufacturing, quality, customer engineering, and account managers.
• Foster relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure clear communications and facilitate effective requalification projects.
• Manage management of change procedures in coordination with site and global quality organizations.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• BS in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical/Materials Engineering.
• Recent graduates welcome; experience in the Composites industry is a plus.
• Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision.
• Sets high quality standards and possesses a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to create and lead cross-functional teams engaging internal and external customers.
• Takes initiative in solving complex technical and process problems.
• Good organization skills; ability to learn and manage multiple projects.
• Ability to display and develop project management skills.
• Basic to intermediate understanding of the composite industry, including resin families and fibers.
• Skills in problem solving, technical presentations, relationship building, and technical conflict resolution.
• Basic understanding of analytical, physical, and mechanical test methods.
• Basic understanding of statistical analysis.
• English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a Green Card Holder or a US Citizen.
• Domestic travel is occasionally required.
