About the Role
Utah Valley University Dining Services is seeking a student to assist with Catering Services’ dishwasher duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day dishroom operations; proper sink, floor, and dishware care; and cleaning and safety procedures.
- Use proper cleaning techniques with all dining ware, dishware, and silverware.
- Maintain the use of supplies, chemicals, and equipment from the dishroom & laundry area.
- Arrive at work on time, in a clean uniform, and fulfill assigned duties.
Qualifications
- Must be a current UVU student.
- Must be able to work 7:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, and stand for extended periods.
- Friendly, helpful, and able to follow directions.
