About the Role
- Full-time, on-site role in Chennai.
- Responsible for developing design concepts, translating ideas into detailed drawings, and supporting interior and architectural projects from initial planning through execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts and translate ideas into detailed drawings.
- Prepare construction drawings.
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams.
- Ensure designs comply with local codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand requirements.
- Refine layouts and details.
- Produce accurate documentation for approvals and implementation.
- Assist in material selection.
- Assist in design presentations.
- Align design solutions with project budgets and timelines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in Construction Drawings and technical Drawing, including detailed plans, sections, and elevations for interior and architectural projects.
- Knowledge of relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools).
- Ability to work on-site in Chennai.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design.
- Awareness of Urban Planning principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Familiarity with local building codes, standards, and sustainable design practices is an advantage.
