Back End Engineer

Role: Backend Engineer

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Type: Full-time

CTC: 67 LPA

SLA: 2 years

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Python or PHP.
• Build and support backend services and REST APIs.
• Work with SQL databases to write, optimize, and troubleshoot queries.
• Debug technical issues and contribute to application performance and reliability.
• Follow coding standards and participate in testing, code reviews, and development activities.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver reliable and scalable software solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong programming fundamentals in Python or PHP.
• Knowledge of Python frameworks, particularly Django, is an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including joins and query troubleshooting.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, status codes, and application integrations.
• Good analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Git, version control, code reviews, testing, and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Additional Advantage: Knowledge of Golang and experience with backend frameworks.

Qualifications

• Eligible Graduation Years: 2025 and 2026.
• Eligible Qualifications: B.Tech, B.E., B.Sc., and M.Sc. (Computer Science and related disciplines preferred).
• Prior internship experience in relevant technologies is preferred.
• Strong programming fundamentals and relevant technical knowledge are essential.
• Mumbai-based candidates are preferred.
• Candidates must be willing to agree to the applicable service-level agreement.

Interview Process

• Two technical interview rounds.
• Includes online and offline assessments.
• Willingness to attend the final interview round at the company's Mumbai office is required.
• Immediate availability for the interview process is preferred.
