About the Role
Paper Plane Tales is looking for a Social Media Content & Events Intern who enjoys creating content, capturing moments, and bringing brands to life on social media. This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on event content creation, including shooting photos and Reels at events for a leading wedding catering company, alongside social media management and content creation for Paper Plane Tales and its clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot and edit footage for social media accounts
- Manage day-to-day social media operations on key accounts
- Coordinate and strategise with multiple creative and tech teams of experts
- Build and maintain client relationships with founders and marketing leads at multiple startups and legacy brands
- Provide data analysis and metric reporting for clients
- Manage operations on Paper Plane Tales' marketing & brand building
- Outreach to new leads and partners via various digital marketing channels
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Some experience in managing social media accounts, posting & creating Reels & Stories
- Excellent communication skills
- An understanding of all major social media platforms
- An understanding of MS Excel and PowerPoint
- The ability to multi-task and follow-up
- A creative mindset and add value to the project overall
- Preferable familiarity in basics of graphic design
Qualifications
- Excited to attend events and shoot reels and photos with a leading wedding catering company
- Available to attend and shoot content at events in the late evenings and on weekends (working hours will be flexible and compensated accordingly)
- Interested in social media marketing & content creation
- Skilled in copywriting
- Able to understand graphic design and/or video editing
- Passionate about working with fast-growing startups
- A people-person
- A self-starter
Position: Full-time, hybrid (Lower Parel, Mumbai)
Minimum Commitment: 6 months
