About the Role
Trex Company is seeking an Information Technology Intern to support the Information Technology department and Trex employees' technology needs. This role involves partnering with IT colleagues and business functional experts to identify, define, and drive digital capabilities aligned with Trex's strategic and operational goals. The ideal candidate is analytical, results and process-driven, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and possesses strong collaboration and decision-making skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end users.
- Assist in troubleshooting technology issues.
Depending on area of study, projects may include:
Application Development
- Develop new features based on feedback.
- Maintain and upgrade legacy components.
- Collaborate during design reviews to refine user experience.
Business Applications
- Gather and compile business requirements.
- Perform gap analysis and solutions design.
- Simulate business process execution in proposed solutions.
- Perform software/application installation and upgrade.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields.
- GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Strong computer skills.
- Passion to learn.
- Ability to prioritize and efficiently manage time.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to solve problems accurately and efficiently.
