PTC DESIGN ENGINEER

About the Role

Kaizenat Technologies Pvt Ltd (KTPL) is seeking a full-time, on-site PTC Design Engineer in Bengaluru. This role focuses on utilizing PTC Creo and related tools for the design and modeling of mechanical or electromechanical components and products, ensuring alignment with customer and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and refine 3D models and drawings.
• Perform design reviews.
• Maintain CAD standards and libraries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs into product development workflows.
• Work closely with simulation specialists and project managers to validate designs.
• Support PLM processes.
• Contribute to design optimization and manufacturability.
• Document design intent.
• Adhere to industry and client-specific standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for tools and methodologies.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• PTC Creo (or similar tools) for parametric modeling, assemblies, and drawing creation.
• CAD skills.
• Mechanical Engineering knowledge including materials, manufacturing processes, tolerance analysis, and structural design principles.
• Design Engineering and Product Design skills, including concept development, 3D modeling, and detailed engineering documentation.
• Electrical Engineering understanding when working on electromechanical products, including basic circuitry, connectors, and system integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Beneficial qualifications:
• Experience with PLM systems (e.g., PTC Windchill).
• Exposure to CAE/simulation workflows.
• Familiarity with industry standards (automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing).
• Prior work in an engineering services or product development environment.
